History
As a 16-year-old student at Castlewood College, Rathmines, Dublin, Donald ‘Dhonal’ Angus Allan Cameron, the son of Charles Eien Allan Cameron and Zina Cameron, of Mountplunket, Lecarrow, Roscommon, Ireland, built a glider in 1910. Born deaf, and was educated on the pure oral system under a Mr. Newburn, having been successful in passing several competitive examinations. He entered Trinity College, Dublin, in 1911.
