Type Description
- BAe ATP
- (ATP = Advanced Turbo-Prop) Twin-turboprop regional transport aircraft, based on the Avro/BAe 748, to which it was similar structurally. It retained the same cabin cross section but had a longer fuselage, with standard accommodation for 64 passengers. It featured a more pointed contour and a more modern cockpit. There were separate forward and rear passenger doors, with integral airstairs at the forward door, and separate forward and rear baggage doors. The sill height of the forward passenger door allowed the ATP to use jetways at regional airports. The wing was essentially a composite of the wider span Avro 780 Andover centre section with the Avro 748 Series 2B outer wings. The cantilever tailplane featured slightly swept vertical and non-swept horizontal surfaces. Two 2,400 shp Pratt & Whitney Canada PW124 (early aircraft) or 2,653 shp PW126 turboprop powerplants, fitted with BAe/Hamilton Standard slow turning propellers, each having six blades of advanced aerodynamic profile and lightweight composite construction.
- BAe.846 ATP(F)
- Cargo airline West Air Sweden AB and BAE Systems jointly funded a programme for the ATP to be available as a freighter. For the basic freighter, ATP(F), the aircraft was modified to an Class E cargo carrier, the conversion comprising 15 modifications, including reconfiguring the interior into an E-class cargo compartment, upgrading the cockpit with Universal Avionics' UNS-1K flight management system and adapting the aircraft from Federal Aviation Administration to Joint Aviation Authorities regulations. The original conversion took place at West Air's Lidköping engineering and maintenance facility, all of the modifications have been developed by West Air.
- BAe.846 ATP(F)(LFD)
- While the ATP(F) provided only for cargo access via the front and rear passenger doors, the more advanced ATP(F)(LFD) featured the introduction of a BAe designed Large Freight Door, a 5ft. 8in. high by 8ft. 8in. wide modified HS748 freight door, located in the parallel section of the fuselage aft of the wing, sliding aft for access. This enabled large individual freight items such as aero-engines to be transported as well as unit load devices such as LD3 and LD4 containers. In addition, West Air developed a tailor-made container for the ATP cabin to maximise use of the available volume.
- BAe.846 ATP(QC)
- A combination version of the aircraft, allowing operators with low passenger traffic commitments to maximise revenue levels by flying cargo containers.
- Jetstream 61
- ATP fitted with two 2,750 shp Pratt & Whitney Canada PW127 powerplants.

Projected Variants
- P.132 Maritime ATP
- ATP with Searchwater 2 surveillance radar under the forward fuselage, nose-mounted Thermal Imaging and a CAE Magnetic Anomaly Detector (MAD) in a tail boom. Sonar buoys were located in the rear fuselage, and four underwing hard points could carry Stingray torpedoes or Harpoom ASMs.
- ATP-AEW
- Airborne Early Warning aircraft for Australia, with two EMI Skymaster radars in nose and tail radomes.
- Jetstream 51
- Reduced length Jetstream 61 with seatig for 52 passengers.
- Jetstream 71
- Increased length Jetstream 61.
