History
Messrs Collyer and Lang brought a pusher monoplane to Brooklands in November 1910, though it only managed a few hops. Collyer next teamed up with B.H. England, and their biplane was constructed at Shoreham in August 1911. This was moderately successful. Nothing else is known of Collyer, Lang or England.

Production Details and Type Description
Collyer-Lang Monoplane
Single-seat pusher monoplane, nicknamed "Otazell", though it was more generally called "The Hellhound". The pilot sat in front of the wings, between the two skids, the 20 h.p. J.A.P. engine being mounted to the rear between the triangular tail booms. The aircraft featured single acting ailerons, twin rudders set within the booms, and a tail mounted elevator. In March 1911, it was reported as being converted to a tractor biplane, with the pilot and and engine positions reversed.

Collyer-England Biplane
Three bay, single seat tractor biplane with a covered, triangular section fuselage, tapering in elevation. The upper longerons supported a monoplane tail with hinged elevators. A trapezoidal rudder was fitted, but there was no fixed fin. The wings were built with the front spar and interplane struts along the leading edge. Single action ailerons were fitted to both top and bottom wings. The undercarriage consisted of two pairs of wheels, each with its own central skid, located below the inner interplane struts. New skids of different shape were substituted later on the undercarriage. Fitted originally with a 30 h.p. Alvaston powerplant, this was replaced by a 35 h.p. Green.
