History

S.L. Buckle built a high wing monoplane in 1929, using mainly scrap parts including the mainplanes and centre section of a Sopwith Snipe.

Production Details and Type Description

Monoplane
Single seat parasol monoplane, utilising a Sopwith Snipe upper mainplane, attached to a new fuselage, which as far back as the cockpit was decked in plywood and strengthened by wire cross bracing. The whole machine was covered in doped fabric. The wing was mounted to the centre section on four spruce struts and wire braced to the fuselage lower longeron.One 45 h.p. Anzani powerplant.
