History
The Birmingham Aero Co. of 667 Moseley St., Birmingham, advertised in 1909 that it would manufacture aircraft to customers' designs or their own specially designed Albatross monoplane "which are noted for their great stability and increased safety, owing to the low position of the engine and Aviator. The liability to damage the machine on alighting is reduced to a minimum, owing to the remarkable and effective springing arrangement" at prices between £250.
