History
A Wright type glider was constructed at Cardiff by H. Beer during 1912. This was probably William Henry Braund Beer, born on 13 December 1875 in Clifton, Bristol, Gloucestershire, the son of Samuel Beer and Susanna Beer (neƩ Braund), and who is recorded as living at Walker Rd, Splotts, Cardiff in 1911. Beer was a member of the Cardiff Aero Club and the glider possibly involved others from the club.
William Henry Braund Beer died on 20 October 1947 in Wellington, New Zealand.
