A.W.650 Argosy Srs. 100 Twin boom, general-purpose transport aircraft, with a high wing based on that of the Avro Shackleton. Sideways opening doors
  fitted at both ends of the fuselage. Four 2,020 e.s.h.p Rolls-Royce Dart Mk.526 turboprops.
A.W.650 Argosy Srs. 101 Series 100 for Riddle Airlines.
A.W.650 Argosy Srs. 102 Series 100 for BEA.
A.W.650 Argosy Srs. 220 Larger freight hold and enlarged front and rear doors to enable it to carry standard size cargo pallets; lighter redesigned wing
  increasing the maximum range. Four 2,250 e.s.h.p. Rolls-Royce Dart Mk.532/1 turboprops.
A.W.650 Argosy Srs. 222 Series 220 for BEA.
A.W.660 Argosy C.Mk.1 Military version based on the AW650 to Specification C.195 to meet the requirements of OR.344. No nose door and the rear
  doors were changed to 'clam shell' style with an integral loading ramp. Four 2,470 e.s.h.p. Rolls-Royce Dart R.Da.8 Mk.101
  or Mk.102 turboprops.
A.W.660 Argosy E.Mk.1 C.Mk.1 converted for radio and airport aids calibration.
A.W.660 Argosy T.Mk.1 C.Mk.1 converted for crew familiarisation for T.Mk.2.
A.W.660 Argosy T.Mk.2 C.Mk.1 converted for navigational, air electronics and flight engineer trainer.

Projected Variants

A.W.650 Argosy Srs. 200 As Series 220 with 2,020 e.s.h.p Rolls-Royce Dart Mk.526 turboprops. Replaced by Series 220.
A.W.660 Argosy Srs. 3 A.W.660 with new box-spar wing, increased headroom, 4-wheel bogie undercarriage and Napier Eland 508 powerplants.
