Notes
  1. Little is known of Greek production. Hellenic Air Force history [3] quotes Little is known of Greek production. Hellenic Air Force history [3] quotes "Thirty british-built airplanes were delivered in 1936 and 62 more were to be domestically produced. In December of 1939 59 Avro 621 were available, while 30 more airplanes were under production at the State Airplane Factory, the production line pace being about 7 airplanes per month." Photographic evidence exists showing at least serials E106 and E140. Four presumed ex-RHAF aircraft were impressed as HK833 - HK835 and HK853 to contract (or file or req. no.?) 2AX 9464.

  2. Jackson [1] also gives an additional number of enginless airframes delivered: 303 military between 1932 and 1936, 7 civil between 1931 and 1938.

  3. Although most sources give these as Typre 621, the Avro Heritage website [6] shows that they are Type 623.

  4. Origin uncertain, possibly G-AAKT. However, G-AAKT was a Mongoose Trainer [1], and K1797 is recorded as a Lynx Trainer [7].
