Notes Model Plus D G-AWFO was fitted with Cirrus Minor 2A powerplant plus u/c, engine bulkhead and bearers from Autocrat G-AGXB in May 1963
(by Thurston Engineering Ltd., Stapleford?) and re-designated J/4S (quoted in BCAN Vol 20 No.17, 14 Sep 1963, although not
shown on CofR documentation). On 29 May, 1963, while on a local flight from Stapleford, the engine failed
and it crashed into the roof of Marlow Court, Willesden Lane, London, NW 2 killing both occupants [5]. Originally produced as a spare fuselage and was completed at a later date using components from a J/2 Arrow G-APJU.
